Your absoluetly correct. A lot of members on this site are too conservative and wont try things. I remember arguing with members back in 2002-2003 about lower offsets and people would swear that they would rub. Same stuff going on today. Nothings changed.

There are a few posts however that were way off and had rubbing issues even though those members swore they wouldnt rub. Funny thing is I had the exact sizes, offsets, etc. But as you know some of us get tired of arguing especially 5 years worth of it.

Anyway good luck with your project and post up some pictures when your finished.

I don't think the rims look that bad, but fender mods will be the order of the day I think.

I like the wheels, and I'm sure it's going to look WICKED...but for some reason, I don't like those centercaps...

I just don't get the point of stretching a tire to fit a wheel with low offsets, to me, the point of running a wider wheel or trying to get a little lower offset is to fit more meat on the back, not trying to stretch a tire so it won't rub. I'm function over fashion though, so if you think it will look good then that is your cup of tea.

Nice wheels. I would like an update when the tires are installed.
