Default NEW WHEELS INSTALLED PICS!

Well i finally sold my 18" Emotions and got some 17's to run track days! I was going to get Advan RS's, but both availability and costs kept that from happening. So i found a good light weight alternative. I bring you my new wheel pics, 17" Weds Sports TC-005 (17x7.5 Fr [+41], 17x8 Rr [+42]) in gunmetallic! Enjoy the pics (Sorry for the bad quality):

My old setup:

Nice. That works. Hows the clearance with the Spoon calipers with that +41 front? Plenty of clearance?

I have to run a 3mm spacer to clear the calipers.

Are advans known to have crazy side walls?? Because my advans have a side walls that stick sout like no other... And it's annoying, is this something normal??? I have 235/45/17 advans in the rear and I think a 245/40/17 in a normal tire would still give me less side wall and let me go lower with out worring of rubbing. And help with that?

Any ways, nice wheels!!!

Your view on tires and the sidewall is a little off. The second number 235/ (45)/ 17 is the aspect ratio. if you increase the width and decrease the aspect ratio (245/40/17) you will actually have about the same sidewall height as the wires you have now, because the two numbers work in conjunction with eachother. Whatever you do, you want to make sure to keep the rolling diameter as close to stock.
