truly a much more beautiful car, and i'm sure it'll be loaded with technology that s2k's could only dream of, but thats still not enough. the 335/135 engine is beautiful with TONS of torque over a large RPM band, but with it being as heavy as it is, it's not going to even be quicker than the S - and i doubt it will handle better.

it doesn't fit what i'd want from a roadster...but i'm sure it'll sell well, especially in the 6spd AUTO tranny.

I think you're quite misinformed man. I will bet you $1,000 right now that you're WRONG on all counts. A 335i handles almost as well as an S and its a sedan. Its already faster than an s2k. It will beat it from any speed.

Where do you get your logic? I'm just curious

 

umm.... an S2k can't beat any N54 powered car, be it 135, 335 or etc.The Z4 has the same motor so the S won't hang.

Everyone seems to be concentrating on the stats. The awesome looks, nice power and torque, sweet luxurious interior, thumbs up handling and the top down is all I need. I got the S2000 for the feel of the car as a package in all aspects of life, not because I wanna race 350Zs. Peeps who put down the S just don't get the whole picture. A 500hp CRX sure doesn't tickle my fancy.

 

sorry.. but TT with 300 ft lbs of torque is where the beauty is. I've raced stock S2ks in my 335i and it isn't even a contest, and my car weighs more than the Z4.

 

The 335s are quick for sure, and a stock s2k will lose, but not that bad. After the 335 gets chipped, it's game over for the s2k.

 

All I can say about this car is, I can't wait to see the guys face after i STOMP all over his $50k car with my turbo s2k. Also wtf is a twin turbo 3 liter only making 300 hp?
