Dont get us wrong. Here is the advise we give to new S2K owners. Learn the car S2000 first before you push it!

And welcome to our community.

Looks like Silverstone Metallic to me in the pic, and also because as someone mentioned, there was no Sebring Silver in '01 ;-)

Congratulations though

Just be careful with the car, especially if you're comming from a FWD platform (the focus) and don't have much driving experience (which you can't at 15). Bumpsteer will put you over a curb in no time if you're not careful

Hope you don't put it in a ditch. Respect the car and be thankful for it. This isn't a toy.

i was on my foot until 16 and upgraded to bicycle at 16 1/2 cuz i wanted to go little faster.

And got nice '91 ford tauraus WAGON in emerald green with green interior (talking about a pimp ) at 17.
Enjoyed hell of it with awesome stock stereo sound making noise with friends hanging out in my trunk. You guys have to believe i was the pimp in my crew.

And after a sudden death of her, i shared my friend's unknown convertable for a while which was letting us get some rain through holes in rag top when it was raining.

And following death of my friend's car, i started to walk again. I walked a lot and almost got offered to run in a track team. I walked and used bus until like 22.

And finally i have inherited sharp looking '01 black Jetta 1.8T from my brother when he was leaving to navy. By that time, my life was at peak almost, fast ride with some turbo action with superb stock sound system with shiny 15" alloy wheels. I beat the crap out of it and let me tell you this, i learned stick shift from that car and you talking about lose gears.

And after my bright success in my field as an architect, i'm owning flashing Red S2000! and i'm in sunglasses top down with a girl. Hell ya, i'm happy, and you will be too. Don't get spoiled. Car doesn't mean much, it's an accessary.

Congrats!

Congrats on the ride... and the scholarship at 15, pretty impressive. Take 'er easy and don't go trying to show off with fishtails until you learn how to maneuver the car.

Search for a local Autocross group, that will really help you out. It's very fun too!
