Nice camera does not mean nice photos. It's this misconception that's devalued the photography industry as a whole.

It takes much practice to perfect the composition, lighting and give each image a mood to make it compelling.

This comment will likely go ignored or people will call me a troll or whatever because I'm giving an honest personal opinion.

If you want to pursue it please do your research and experiment, invest in a tripod to lock the camera down to give you repeatable composition with different camera settings. Most print worthy automotive photos are long exposure with either a rig to capture motion, or some kind of light painting.

All the techniques are out there online just google it to learn!
If you're giving a honest opinion perhaps I could chime in.... Instead of telling the op to obtain info online, which we all know how creditable info online can be, you could of suggested proper education and schooling at a JC or a 4 yr College/University. I guess one could say your suggestion devalues the photography education industry as a whole.
OP Your imagination is the limit. You seem to on the right track. But there's more then just pointing and shooting, there's shooting techniques, lighting, balance, composition, contrast, proper editing, ect.
Cool pics never the less

Out of curiosity, what camera did you buy?

Not bad but try bringing your highlights down a little and adding some contrast. Nice car.

Next time don't have burger king in the background. Not sure I'd buy a car with 280,000 miles, your brave.
