To get back to everyone on the most asked question, "why did you sell the NSX?"

I know most of you will disagree BUT...

Even though I got a pretty good lease deal, (3 yrs, 10k/year, $1800 total drive off, $862/month including tax) (I gotta put my flame suit on) I didn't feel like the car fit all my expectations. I totally agree that it was VERY original, Honda's flagship, awesome sports car heritage, nice power, VERY well balanced, exotic beauty, addictive engine sound especially in VTEC...

Even though it was such an awesome car, a few things bothered me:

1. Pretty much 95% of the car was the same as the 1991 version... noticeable differences were:

Front/Rear bumpers, overall exterior cosmetics, wheels, headlights, taillights, etc... and the interior looked real nice, but same thing, radio was ancient, I am not an amber lighting lover, and a few other things...

2. The car sat in my garage, as I was driving my daily driver a lot. It sucked paying over $1k a month including insurance and barely driving it as much as I should of.. Car had only 8k miles on it when I sold it after 1.5 years.

Overall, I know this may be hard for some to believe but the S2k feels LOT more fun to drive with a way better gearbox...

Any comments?!
95% of the car? There is so much stuff that changed from 91, the car always looked about the same but if you ever drove a 91 then drove a newer one they are two totally different cars. (Suspension changed, different tranny's, engine changed, etc. etc.) I agree the interior is sorta old feeling compared to newer cars but I'd take an NSX any day over my S. I have driven both FI and NA NSX's and loved them. The S does have a fun factor the NSX doesn't but then again the NSX has things I like more than the S. When my S is paid off I'll probably end up buying an older NSX. All the cars look good though.

That NSX was sweet! I would have kept it and gotten the S as a daily and forget about the IS.

i dunno some of u are too obsessive over the nsx

the way i see it, he has the best of both worlds

he has a turbo is300 which pending on how much boost is running could pretty much smoke a hefty # of cars on the road today while seating 4 passengers at least and he also has a 2 door drop top sports car which he doesn't need to be paranoid about when he's out

i'd be pretty satisfied

I was just poking fun at how the S2000 may be better than the NSX to some, it wasn't an attack at what you said.

All you have to do is drive an NSX, and you'll understand the obsession....
