Official 21 & younger thread.
I think our generation faces a lot of undeserved scrutiny from the older people of today. Age is just a number, and it shouldn't be something to judge on how successful one is. I know plenty of people younger than me that are way better off than I am. Also have friends older than me who don't have it quite so well. It's all about setting your mind to things, instead of wasting your time away in front of a computer or TV all day.
I'm proud to say that I own my '07 and everything on it. I've never had any help with any of it, and at the age of 20, I have the envy of people twice my age. You just have to have priorities, and will power.
Here's another shot of mine, just so I feel like I'm contributing, instead of fueling the flames.

^^^^this, everyone is coming in here talking crapp saying this thread is doomed yet I've seen some very nice and tastefully modded cars.
Do I wish my mom and dad gave me money to but my car? Hell yes I do and if they did congrats to the kid who's family is financially stable to afford and trust their kid with a great car. We shouldn't talk crap to them about it. When I have children I hope I can afford to buy them a car so they can focus on school.
Different strokes for differ tokes, let's agree to disagree

Agreed. I am 20, and have about 25 grand in my car from begining to end. Between the turbo project, rear end, suspension, wheels, ect ect.
Yet. Only about 9 thousand of this was my own earned money. And I will tell anyone this who asks. I'm proud my parents support my addiction
and I'm glad they help. Have the senior citizens make their own thread.

They think us young kids are ignorant and immature and then this fool comments in here. So if your dad was willing to pay for your parts you would say no? GET REAL

Exactly. Ignorance. Complete ignorance. Go check my build thread. I'll link it for you. I was there building my car from begining to end, in a garage, on jackstands. Clutch jobs, rear end, all on jack stands.
I also have a job. And inbetween college I flipped about 2-3 cars last year fixing wrecked auction cars and re selling. And I pay for insurance, bills, and alot of things with this money
So between school, working, flipping cars, and keeping a 3.0 gpa or else I get kicked out of nursing - isn't hardwork and dedication ? Then maybe highschool football was ? Lol. Lol. Lol. Idk what you want to hear FYI. My father passed away when I was in 5th grade. That's how I got the car with 2000 miles on it. It was his. And this is why I wanted to build the car. And learn how to build it.
happy now ? Cause I just got real
Weasel what kind of wheel are those and specs please, thanks
