Wow, would love to see a mountain lion in the wild... and drive those roads. I assume he/she made it across the street OK? I volunteer at a big cat sanctuary, so that obviously caught my eye.

Yep I was able to easily slow down and avoid any incident. I ended up driving by it on the right, really close as it made it's way into the trees. Very cool to see it so close driving by it slowly seeing how big it was compared to how high I was sitting in my car.
