Bass, that is absolutely exactly what I want to do. I've got a 2gig drive on my pocketPC and was gonna get another 4 gig and this way i'll have all my music and everything. Is there any other solution for the FM modulator so I can have it in all of my cars instead of purchasing and installing seperate units?

BTW, which GPS reciever is that?
hey Kane sorry for the late reply - not that i am aware of - i would think you need something in each car to feed the signal to the head unit from the pocket pc

i used an fm this time because i wanted to keep the stock head unit - (since removed )

in my old s2k i added a Pioneer CD-RB10 Auxiliary Input Adapter into my old pioneer x/m unit and the head unit would see this as an Aux input thereby giving a better sound

but if your plan is to move this from car to car i would think that you need something in each car -

as for the GPS unit - i'll have to check, it's an ebay one that i bought last year for about $180.00

I think its the same way with the people that replace tehir steering wheels with aftermarket. Theres a resistor you install into the plug where the airbag used to go.

I believe, from the picture, he's commenting on the gap from the bezel to the actual dash. Looks like it's sticking out, and not completely flush. Could just be the picture, but it's the first thing I noticed when I originally saw it.

For those with a TomTom or Garmin c3xx (e.g. c320) or Garmin ix (e.g. i5), have you had any issues/complaints with the screen? I've read that the screens on those aren't very good, especially in bright daylight (glare), or even at night.

Thoughts?

I'm actually looking into the Garmin Quest or Nuvi..
