I've got the Garmin Quest in my Wrangler, which I also use for travel. Works well but not nearly as usable as the Eclipse unit I had in my last car. 2.5" non-touch screen is a challenge so I rarely use it. I'm wondering if anyone has used the new Garmin 7200 with 7" screen which mounts on top of dashboard.

That was actually one of my concerns for the Quest -- the small non-touch screen. I believe the Nuvi and c3xx series screens are noticeably larger.

I imagine that the screen is extremely important, especially if you don't have a "Voice announcing streets by name" feature. You say it was a challenge and thus rarely used.. and you feel the unit was still very useful? Was it sufficient to rely on purely voice?

Because of the screen size, I'm actually leaning more towards the Nuvi than the Quest. The price difference, though, is quite significant.

question. If I want navi or DVD; there is a vendor on here selling the mounting bezels. How would I go by hooking that up? I know how to wire up radios. Just would it be through the CD player with an external screen? or a whole seperate navi/dvd player setup then the radio?

This is with my Pioneer AVIC-D2, but I recently upgraded to the AVIC-D3. It is also installed a little differently with the JDM bezel.
