i just bent mine at the top and screwed it into the bottom of the bumper (also shaved front bumper)

I used the original bracket that came with the black plastic license holder, modified it to make everything centered and attached the plate. The whole lot is bolted up to the center grill stem where there is a threaded bracket to bolt it. I then placed some sticky back rubber strips at the back of the license plate to help it sit tight against the front grill louver. Also put a zip tie threw top corner 2 license plate holes and pulled it back around the grill louver.

Mounted with the brackets that come wth the Amuse bumper . In the Netherlands you it's almost impossible to drive without a front license plate . In 1 our 2 days max I'll get stopped without a front plate our incorrectly mounted plate .

I also cleaned the front bumper.





I have the plate in the front grill with 2 ty rips (black ones now).... i know it is not the nicest solution but for now it does the job.
