Oh Lord... Another PIC REQUEST. HardTop on Sebring
well guys... call me crazy but in the florida heat ive been driving w/ top up.. mostly because i ran out of contacts which forces me to wear glasses(no sunglasses)..
anywho ive been thinking about hardtop on sebring.. but ive only seen one online and maybe it was the pics.. but turned me off...
please post any and all pics you have of sebring w/ hardtop.
would really like to see pics w/ the tape pulled and pics w/o tape pulled..
(if you pulled the tape and had any problems below it. please post year and problems)
i think id want the tape pulled but have no pics to use as reference... and dont really wanna find out if i have damage there.. also pulling the tape would ruin the "all black top" i have now w/ the tint/softtop/black surround.
Taped pulled with no problems. It flat-out changed the look of the car for the better. The soft-top makes the car look cheap and miata-ish. I have received nothing but compliments after I put the top on. The nicest thing about it, is the climate is much easier controlled in the car and the wind-noise was cut to a minimum.
I have a suzuka but i will agree with fumanchu, the car with the hardtop looks more expensive, and it is more comfortable inside. I pulled my tape with zero problems. I do think the no tape with the soft top looks bad so in my opinion once you pull the tape its hartop for good. Go for it
just take it off, and whenever you want to vynl black again, just shoot me pm and ill get some made for you,
wont be exact as the oem, i dont think it matter which black or where the line starts/stops,
but ill see what i can do when the time come, ive been thinking about doing this for a while and just having it as an option for people to buy when they want it black again
