One year down, hopefully many more to go
A Year in Review
I love this car! I fell in love with the S2000 after my first test drive of a RIO AP2. After that I couldn't stop thinking about having a S2000. I joined the forum in the fall of 2007 and began my research. At the time I did NOT like the look of the AP1 and was certain I'd get an AP2. About two years later the stars were beginning to aline and I decided that an AP1 would fit my budget better and I started to fall in love with the AP1. I still feel a stock AP2 looks better than a stock AP1 but I reasoned that since I love this car so much I'd eventually get both. I'd start with an AP1 an get an AP2 later on.
Like most members I was interested in a GPW. I was in love with GPW with a red interior. That was my first choice. My other choices were GPW/Tan, GPW/Black, Sebring then NFR. I also wanted an '02-'03 for the glass window. I also wanted one with under 40K miles. What I ended up with was the complete opposite. A year ago today I got a 2000 NFR with just over 8700 miles! Number 102 off the assembly line too!
Here are few pictures of the previous 12 months. Enjoy!

3 I immediately started autocrossing it.

4 Then I got some Tanabe GF210 springs for a steal.

5 Then the ebay lip.

6 Then some Tein S-techs.

7 Some time over the summer I installed a K&N FIPK and just recently installed a HKS 75mm Single.

The car may not be much to look at and many others have done more in a year but for me it's more about the driving experience and I've loved
every minute of it. With that being said I do plan on getting 17" wheels. I love the look of AP2v1 rims but I might get RPF1s because
they are lighter and not very expensive. We'll see.
Anyway, the forum has been a great resource and a huge time sucker! One year down and many more to go!
