Default Made a Full Engine Block Heat Shield Today..

Hey all, a few days ago I had a thread with my custom air guide and my cooling plate that I made. I use to have a carbon fiber ztec engine heatshield that I sold and I really miss it. So yes I came up with the brilliant idea to make a new one. I made it more similar to the passwordjdm one since its a bigger shield that is extended more, unlike the ztec one. The carbon vinyl I put on it was kinda messed up, but it does the job. Its mounted with the two bolts just like the ztec shield. Here are some pics.

Yeah I know I havent cleaned the engine bay for some time now, and it needs it bad! And yes I used sheet metal. I used some of the high temp paint on it and put several layers on it, then put the carbon face on it and bolted it all up.

Thanks, Im just using 2 different kinds of tin snips. One for strait cutting and one for curves. And i'v already drove about 40 miles going 70mph on the highway with no problems, nothing melting. Why would it not work? I guess all of the people that produce these wont work either.
