Default OneSilvers "00 First Year Build thread

Alright everyone. I just picked this puppy up about 2 1/2 month ago. It has come a long way, and the car has been very well taken care care of.

Here is just a list of what I have done:

Here is a list of what I am going to do.

New Front bumper Ap2, I already have that. Two new fenders from Honda, Ap2 Headlights, Ap2 CR Lip from Honda, and the rest of the car will be painted.

I just had the rear 1/4 custom fabed to fit larger wheels next year, this year i had my stock Ap2v1 wheels painted.

Here are pics before the work.

This is a list on what I have done to the car since I bought it March 31st 2010

August 20th 2010 – Intake side on retainers and keepers were replaced with 2004 Honda S2000 types. They’re known to break so I replaced them with the newer version that has never failed.
Stock Ap2 Rims were sand blasted etched primed, epoxy primed, painted custom blue, and cleared August 23rd 2010
September 9th added two Toyo Proxies to the rear 245/40/17 and Yokohama Parada Spec 2 to the front 215/40/17
Car returned from Autobody clinic on September 10th 2010
New OEM from Honda oil pan September 15,th 2010
New SPC rear adjustable ball joints, camber kit September 15th 2010
Oil changed at 95,300 September 15th 2010 with Castrol edge 10W-30
New Honda oil filter oil changed at 95,300 September 15th 2010
New OEM Honda Knock sensor from a ’03 civic si September 24, 2010
New serpentine belt September 25th 2010
4-wheel alignment at Betten Honda September 26, 2010

Here is now.

The car has BlackWorks full body adjustable coil overs, SPC rear camber kit, Megan racing adjustable toe arms.

As for the exhaust, I want to keep the Ap1 Rod tips on. Personally, I think it gives the car an aggressive look.

I myself no. I had this work done at a shop. it took them 2 1/2 weeks to get it where I wanted it. The flare was brought out to a good point, but what I asked them to do was put the stock look to it and create the flat lines at the end instead of the fender roller flare look where it is just brought out.

Can't wait to continue the car. I am going to tail of the dragon Oct. 7th-10th with the car.
I live in Michigan so it is a pretty long drive, but the car is ready.

Thanks guys.

Those rears remind me a lot of the C-West fender design.

That looks fantastic.

Thanks. I really wanted the fenders to be my own. I have not seen many S2k's with something like this as much. The wheels on the other hand, I really wanted something different. I didn't want Jay racing teal because everyone does that. I wanted this. I have some Gramlights to put on the rear, I just have to order the other two still, if I sell just the two though Ill buy some different rims.
As for the future plans I get a 25% discount at Honda, so I am getting everything from them.

These are the Gramlights, I bought two and will order the others if i don't sell these soon.

Can't wait to see this thing at the Gap! Hit me up via pm about when you're getting in, where you're staying, what cars are coming, etc. I can take you guys on a nice little drive Saturday afternoon if you'd like.
