My sister just bought (last week) 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro auto w/ sports package for ~$34k + fees at Palo Alto Audi, CA.
She loves it! Too bad she's not into modding the car though.
I'll have to show her this pic and maybe it'll change her mind!

i convinced my little sister into a 02 a4 1.8TQ, as well as a friend of mine.. these are lovely cars.. especially after massaging them a little bit.

BKW, yup, I feel your pain. My sister's going to be taking my A4 later this year. It'll be missed.

However, drove the S2K to work today and the commute was actually FUN! Commutes in my A4 were always more EFFORTLESS than FUN.

 

Very clean.......Audi's are awesome! I like the color too.

 

Speaking of Oettinger, it reminded me of my Jetta, I miss it very much too.

 

bkw & Saints2k - nice rides man. Can definitely tell that a lot of work went into those cars. Too bad you can't keep 'em both. I had a GTI VR6 before my S so I can somewhat relate. That classic silver looks great.
