Default Tired of waiting!

So, I've been on the hunt for some wheels & with Spring/Summer around the corner, I need something soon. I'm looking for some BBS LM's or CCW Classic/LM20's. I came across these,
4 PC SET 17" BBS LM JDM WHEELS VIP 5x114.3 2-piece STAGGERED FRONT REAR RIMS | eBay

At that price, they're a steal. Unfortunately.. I want 18's. I've looked around & 17's look a little odd unless, the car is dumped. Not to mention, the dimensions are similar to stock & one of the main purposes of upgrading your wheels, is well, too gain more RUBBA! Less rubber means, less traction--& possibly some unexpected babies. You guys think they're worth picking up?

Well wheels are a personal preference. I do like those wheels, but not at those narrow of widths. They are basically a 215/245 set up, any larger and your pinching the tires = sloppy looks, handling and reduced contact patch/grip. That might be just fine for some, but you are hearing from someone that runs a 275/10" - 315/11.5" stagger on this car, so I might be a little biased

Yeah, they're basically a side-grade to my stock wheels (other than looks) & that's really the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger. I saw a few threads/pictures of S's with 17s & you can make it work, but again, it would mainly be for aesthetics. It does look super sleek though
I'm planning on rolling my fenders anyhow, so I may jump on them & dump my S until I can find some replacements.
