i could have gone a half inch lower with the koni's.. but this was also on 18" rims

supposedly, the max. drop with koni yellows and espelir springs is 1.8"

Ok, got it. I was talking to Steve from Evolution and I was misinterpreting what he was telling me. I'm riding stock right now as far as wheels go and it's looking like 1.8" is a substantial drop as far as looks go. If my measurement was correct, then that would put the fenders sitting just above the tires, which is what I'm looking for. Looked like right at 1/4" of space between the tire and fender.

Koni/Espelir Suspension
17x8 +43 F wheel w/a 225-45-17 tire.
17x9 +38 R wheel w/a 245-40-17 tire.

Fender liner needed to be removed in the front. Mine ended up settling at about a 2" drop.
