as a fellow owner, i have had bad experiences with the cheaper brands, tenzo included, and just want to help others save themselves some grief

 

well, congrats on the decision, and i honestly think that you will be happier with one of those than the tenzos...i had a set on my civic, was the mugen rnr copy, and i managed to crack 2 of them...

i switched to enkeis and didn't crack any of those, maybe its just coincidence, i don't know... but if you look online you can find the rpf1's for $229+ on tirerack

 

Sorry, have fun with your Tenzos. For all I know, they're the best looking set of wheels I've ever seen ... post up some pics so the OP can see what they look like.

I'm just curious, but what the hell do you guys care about what some folks choose to do with THEIR money? If they wanna "double-back" and spend more money in the end, then let them. If they wanted financial advise, I'm sure there are much more qualified individuals than at S2KI.

It's times like this when I can see why this board is seen as one of the snobbiest Honda boards around. Makes me sick at times.

Replicas are always going to be around (and you better believe people are going to keep buying them). Used S2000s are becoming cheaper and cheaper, and therefore much more accessible to a much broader crowd (and not all of them can afford what others on here can). Get used to it and just deal with it already.
