Ugh. Why go smaller than stock?

i have 225's on my HRE's and i hate driving on that setup... purely for show. I have 2 rules for myself: nothing thinner than stock (225/205) and no tires worse than stock (RE050)

stretch = friend ........there are alot of people in the s2k world who frown upon tire stretching idk why... not referring to anyone in this post.
i like stretch too, so my next setup i'm gonna stretch 265 and the barrel will probably still be exposed

Luckily, I have the luxury of switching out different wheels & tires for street/show/track/canyon use.

i could see arguing that if the car is stock height or running stock or similar to stock wheels/offsets but when running more aggressive wheels and drops i dont see the issue it allows you to fit your aggressive set up with more function. but to each each is own and this subject has been exhausted , so yeah

More function? I think not.....If you want more function, stop the low offset game and get a wider tire.

If you have a show wheel and a go wheel thats cool, but show(as in low low offset, with a stretched tire) and function do not go together.
