Red face pic request front lip spoiler

Does any one have pictures of a front lip spoiler with the rods that come out the top of the spoiler and go into the radiator area.
I am unsure what these rods are actually called.
I am considering making my own front lip spoiler I have free unlimited acess to a machine shop and I have just learned how to lay up carbon fiber.

So the front spoiler would be carbon fiber weave over aluminum.
Might go with carbon fiber/ Kevlar weave have not decided.

I am using the aluminum as a base due to its "impact" strength over straight carbon fiber.

I have destroyed more than one Mugen SS front spoiler one due to a possum and the other to a large tortoise when on my way to work in the AM.

I think what you are referring to is called a "splitter" not a spoiler.

Mine is CF from APR performance (Custom) I have had it for over 6 months and it has never been damaged... Aluminum works but is extra weight where the CF is very light.

The rods are called "stabilizer" rods.... These splitters became popular with the "touring" import race cars...

Here are some of mine..

SIIK2NR, your splitter looks great. Do you know if I would be able to get one like that only have it not stick out so far? I ask because my car is lowered and I don't want it plowing driveway aprons. Thanks

YES......

The application is custom to the front edge of the 04 lip...

If you prefer less lip then you simply pull it back a little before setting your bolt holes. It's totally up to you...

Thanks for the compliment.

Please call APR and ask for Peter..... He told me he kept my template so if others wanted to get one he would have it on file.

Their site does not show the s2000 application simply because not too many people want them..

People have also used the splitter without the stabilizer rods which looks good too...
