Uh... damn you guys get pretty crazy about eachother's rides... 
The guy tracks the car, so of course there is a purpose behind a tow hook. Whether he wants to take all his track mods on and off every time he goes to the track is up to him.
Personally, I don't understand why anybody is so worried about the S2000 having any reputation... why are you so worried about what people think about your car. Stop trying to tell everyone else what they should or should not enjoy doing to their car, have your own fun with your own car, or piss off. 
Maybe if you are interested in making you and your car seem so cool to everybody else, you should get an Escalade. Most people seem to think those are cool.

I dont mean this in an offensive manner but you have no say in this. You drive a car (the Miata) that 99% of owners are considered homosexual. But lemme guess what your comeback is....

I'm 17 years old and this is what I can afford, and quite frankly, I ****ing love it.
Obviously my post didn't sink in at all to you. I really think you should stop judging everyone's ride so negatively, and just let them enjoy what they do enjoy.
And I only hope the same for you, that you enjoy whatever car you drive and however you like to drive it or modify it.
