anyone got pics of 16inch TE37s on a s2000?

16s would be better for speed, correct?

Why would you want to give up contact patch?

AP2 wheels are 17x7 front and 17x8.5 rear. Why not just go with a lighter 17" wheel with a bigger contact patch ie: CE28N 17x7.5 fronts and 17x9 rear. Lighter rotational mass and more contact patch

16's on a ap2 ruin the factory suspension geometry. stick with 17 or 18.

as far as the contact patch post, ah rim size has little to do with contact patch.

Sure it does . How wide will a TE37 come in a 16 inch? Probablly a 8 inch width. Smaller width rim= smaller tire width = smaller contact patch.

Would it be any bigger of a difference to the suspension geometry putting on 16 inch wheels, than putting on 18 inch wheels?

He's right though, you'd be hard pressed to find 16" wheels in the correct width, particularly the rear. Small diameter wheels usually don't come in big widths. However, I would give it a try, if you found it in the right size, it would be lighter and accelerate faster than the same rim of a larger diameter, and it would accelerate quicker if you put the wrong diameter tire on it too.

Theres probably something to be said about all the development that Honda has put into the suspension though, try for the factory specs with an aftermarket look.
