Pics request of Rota D2 Gold on Yellow S2k
oh btw just curious .. that pic w/ the HRE wheel being damaged .. why is the center cap not HRE?
Not saying that HRE is top quality (because it's not .. and I've owned numerous sets) .. just curious.

I am arguing about WHY CANT THEY DESIGN THEIR OWN? So putting a twist on popular wheels and branding it Rota wheels instead of "knock-offs" is so hard to do? There is a solid design from implicating off a design to COPYING a design.

Obviously you and other pro-rotas here are oblivious to my point. I hope to god one day you open a company and do all the R&D to come up w/ a "hit" product and then a company comes along who does none of the "risk" and just pretty much undercuts your products.
BTW do you support Chinatown products such as NIkkee or Guccini? Or do you love it when Kia makes cars that look like benz or hondas?
I am sure when you see those you are giving them a
for "great capitalism" moves! Are you also supporting them?
I am not arguing about how more supreme the original wheel is (I was trying to say quality of their morals not products).. nor am I arguing about the quality of the rotas.

Please understand this. Making a cheaper products for those who can't afford it is a good idea. Making a cheaper product that is branded in your name is awesome. Making cheaper product to look 99% like a wheel equals
And to answer your question with a question. Why can't it just not be a copy? Is there no creativity in the world anymore?
BTW someone mentioned about how this is not going to change .. and they're right. I don't see how you guys can support such a company.. but of course that's IMO.

Work Wheels
Looks exactly like the Cragar S/S wheels to me...
^ lol that is a good find ....
Guys - Work's ENTIRE line-up is not composed of replicas. They actually do attempt to make some of their wheels "Work" wheels.
But I do realize there will be little cracks here and there that you guys will find. The overall big point though is what the company's main goal(s). Does a company attempt to distinguish their wheels so consumers will recognize those of that brand or does the company attempt to not distinguish and play on the look-a-like factor?
And Crank: I am sure that the (5-spoke) wheel has tons of designs, but again the point here is does the company make any attempt to make it Rota wheels (instead of look like volk wheels?). There can be an argument if say that Rota has a couple of wheels here and there that resemble some models, but they are NOT hiding the fact that they are not attempting to make Rota.
Again all IMO .... happy driving peoples.
