there will be plenty of pictures, do not worry. i have it in my shop right now and it is fully taped up waiting on all the paint to get here!
I bought 2 gallons and a gun from dip your car.com. Been over a week and no tracking number or anything, I am starting to get upset now. But hopefully it will be here soon.
Nfrs2000nyc, do you have any tips for me? Done lots of small stuff but never a large surface before. Anything helps, THANKS!!!!

I sprayed in a dark one car garage, which didn't give me enough room to maneuver and keep the gun at the optimal distance. Due to low light and spraying red on red, I had a hard time seeing where I hit, and that caused running issues. I also did it on a cold, dry morning, which dried the dip almost immediately out of the gun, so it gave it a more textured finish rather than a smooth one. From 10 feet away the car looks awesome but from up close, you can see the texture differences.

Email fonzie or hit him up on their facebook page. After releasing the new colors, he has been SLAMMED with orders. I had an issue with my order as well (they stuck the wrong shipping label on the wrong box and I got someone else's stuff) but he made it right at the end and made sure I get the stuff before the dragon trip. He's a good guy, just a one man operation with an insane amount of orders.
P.S. If you ordered the colored dip, they are mixed by hand so that takes time and labor as well.

alright i will do that tomorrow. i am just wanting to drive my car, i got a new bumper and instead of paying 600 to have it painted this was my alternative. and plus i miss having a white car. but i have a big open shop to spray it in and it is well lit. plus it is about 70* in the mornings here so i should be good to go. how many gallons did you use on your car?

3 but it is overkill. 2.5 will do. 2 when you get really good. Remember also to not press the trigger ALL the way. The amount you depress the trigger dictates the amount of material that comes out. You want to depress it MINIMALLY, just enough for the dip to come out. I made a mistake not knowing the trigger controls the spray and layed some areas too thick too fast. Fine misty coatings is what you want for a perfect finish.

awesome, thanks for the advice! the gun that comes with the kit has a bump stop on the trigger that can be adjusted so that should keep my heavy finger always spraying lightly. i cant want to get it done. i'm also hoping that it hides all my rock chips and other paint infractions which it should. it hid curb rash on a wheel relativity good.
