I put my stock springs back on b/c of rubbing issues in the front with Espilers.
So now I need to see other cars not lowered with 18" wheels just so I will not feel like my car looks stupid and needs to be dropped back down.

Thanks in advance
What size wheels and offsets are you running? You shouldn't be rubbing with the Espiler's with correct specs.

The problem isn't the springs, its the wheels. You have horrible offsets if your rubbing like that.

I have CE28n with correct offsets and I am running Nitto 555 tires at 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. I rubb on bumps and when going in my new driveway. I got out of the car and looked and the tire was turned and the fender was sitting on the tire. I put the springs on correctly I think. I put the one labeld f on the front and the r on the rear. what do you think?

18s in Volks have crappy offsets compared to the 17's. I've never seen a set of 18 in volks that actually fit the car right.

Sorry, no picture...but I had 18" Volks without lowering, then sold the wheels to a friend who has coilovers. Without a doubt, the wheels look so much better on a lowered car. You may be able to stand stock setup for a little while, but once you see other lowered S's next to yours you will bring it down! That has been my experience, anyway.
