Hey Ive been really busy, Im very sorry that I have not be able to send you the pictures. But I am off from work tomorrow and I will be for SURE to get them to you. So very sorry for the delay.

And I used masking tape... I taped over the valve stem and took a long time on each rim taping over the lip nice and straight, but remeber if its not straight you can always go over the uneven parts with a Q-tip and some paint remover. I had to do it a lil bit for each for due to the fact no one can tape perfect. But I got to thinking about I was thinking maybe you could make some type of circle patern to lay of the rim and then paint in the middle of it.. if that makes sense. Anyways, pictures will be up tomorrow, and Project X if you have any more question you are welcome to PM me or you are welcome to AIM me at VinS2ooo.

Not stock but gives you an idea of what dark gunmetal looks like. Been getting all kinds of compliments on it.

i spray painted my stock miata wheels a few years back... the paint DIDNT hold up too well... within months there were little chips all over the place.... if you do try it, you may just need to touch up every now and then.

TIP: try applying Vaseline to your tires then painting right over them. then just wipe off the oil, and the paint is gone!

since then i bought a set of rota slipstreams for a different miata - they were black powdercoated and would only chip if you were crunching down too hard on the lug nuts... otherwise SOLID. defintely worth it...

now with my S, i will be getting stocks matte black powdercoated (this week) and will post pics soon (on sebring). i cant wait!!!

btw, everyone thinks i am crazy for liking black wheels... good thing i dont give a sh1t what they think
