Default Potential Set-up need help

Here's the specs:
18x8.5 +53, 18x9.5 +53

Possible tire sizes:
215/40, 235/40 ???

I know these will be stretched, but I think that's the only way I can get these rims to fit. I've got a great deal on them, so I feel like I can't pass them up! I test fitted them and took some pics. I'd like to hear what you all have got to say about them. Mainly I'm worried I'll have major rubbing issues, especially when I do a little spirited driving. What do you think of them?

Front. This pic is a little misleading as to how much it sticks out cuz the steering wheel was turned to left just a little bit.

Rear hanging freely

Wheels look great! My only suggestion is to get no greater than 255/35 in the rear..MAYBE even 245/35 in the rear if you can stretch it combined with rolling your fenders. I know these tires sizes may not be optimal but it will save u from headaches in the long run. I have BBS lms on my car 18x8.5 +50 and 18x9.5 +55. I am running 265/35 in the rear with no rubbing AFTER I rolled my fender. I think you should be ok with either 245/255 + fender roll. good luck... post pics when done!

You *might* get away with a 265 in the rear if you roll the fenders and use some camber at the expense of treadwear, but that's only a guess on my part based on how my rims fit. I think that I personally would try a 255 with the fenders rolled in this situation. Try PMing our former Hawaii member Chris, JsAP1, he's been through a lot of rims with a wide range of offsets. He could probably give you some good info.

Wow 265? Could I see some pics if you have? Are you dropped at all, and do you have a lot of negative camber to make them fit? I'm not sure if I wanna get these anymore, I'm afraid they'll just be too much of a pita as far as driveability. Also I won't be able to rip it the mountain roads w/o rubbing a lot.
