these next scans aren't of the s2000, but dammmmnnn, have you seen their skyline? i think half the car is carbon fiber, including the entire front end, fenders, hood, bumper, and body frame! this car has published in options magazine for the last several months as an ongoing project, but i think the following article is the first one of it running...

a couple of things that you might have missed in the scans above, first, it looks like they are running their ti-header again, usually they run mugen, maybe it will finally go into production, and the second thing, it looks like amuse has a new CARBON FIBER HARD TOP!!!!! you can see it on enlarged pic below, and on the pic with the car on the truck. i don't know why it says something about the mr-s, i'm pretty sure that's the s2000, can anyone translate the text? as for it being a stock black top, it looks similar in shape to the oem version, but you can see that the rear window does not go down to the edge like the oem version.

It says "Amuse is making a dry carbon roof for the S2000. Using a MR-S window. Will cost 800,000 yen (holy sh!t, given the cost of Amuse exhaust here it will likely come to US$8-10K but really it's more like $6k)"

8-10k for a hard top? No thanks I'll take the Mugen cf top in a heartbeat. Talk about overpriced.

I am with S2K_fever, its way overpriced...the Amuse CF hood is an asswhopping 4k, the trunk lip is 5k, the CF wing is another 2k and now here comes the money ripping HT. I have the Mugen CAI, header, and the amuse dual ti exhaust, IMO the quality of amuse parts are still no comparson to Mugen's.
