A man who thinks like me - I like that!

So many crazy s2000's on this board but few have an interior that can match in terms of modded....I love what you did and can't wait to see the rest. Only thing that concerns me is "quick release gauges" for vent operation?

rick
Thanx for the words...alot of people put on these widebodies and turbos and say well now the power matches the exterior. All they have inside are seats and a steering wheel....BORING! I know the S2K interior isnt the biggest cabin in the world but it deserves some love too. Since my motor will be pretty much n/a i had to make up for it on the interior to match the widebody.

As for the quick release gauges. Im thinking of a way to make a harness for the top 2 gauges. If i leave a little slack in the wiring, I can pull out the gauge dissconnect the harness and I have my vent back. Re-installation would be simple too. I mean I dont HAVE to do that and if I wanted to use the heat or A/C I could just turn the vents onto the floor.

Thanx for all the kind words everyone. I was really up in the air about posting this bc I wasnt sure how people would react. Not many people here are into the more wilder side of modding the S2k. They want to keep it more basic and clean and altho I love the look of a cleanly modded car, I personally love builing the wild cars at the shows.

thanx again

Well i have the same lens... i do agree with you.
Althogh my favourite lens is the 50mm 1.8.

Looks fookin' great, but where does the start button, temp controls, and cruise control switch go???

And what about the vents....aren't they useful for you?

I'd love to have a custom piece made to house one gauge where the radio controls are (and then in turn be able to push the gauge in (to use it as the start button).

The other two gauges I need would sit nicely in a a-pillar gauge pod.

I mentioned it in the 1st post that I will be relocating the ac controls into the center console along with the push start. the push start will be in a cluster near the roof switch and emergency flashers. I will lose the vents on fortunatly but then again i rarely use the ac or the heater.
