Question Project Kics R40 Neo Crome

Well as stated my R40 failed on me and broke in half on my wheel when i was taking it off, so at this point there was no way of taking my wheel off. Thanks to my buddy Jared over at JDM Motorsports in Miami he was able to get it out with no damage to the wheel. I lost a stud in the process but that will be replaced later on this week. Anyhow heres some pics of whats left of it as it was drilled straight through the middle to be able to get it off.

After

Wow man, congrats on getting it out without damaging your wheels. Do you have any idea why it broke, factory blem maybe?

Im guessing it was weak and it just gave up, cause the night before i took that wheel off and i dont tightend them dramatically either so im guessing it just gave out and was weak

Negative Ghostrider, i seriously doubt it. I barely used force when it broke off, and i keep the studs greased up so they dont rust and they go on and come off naturally.

Might be worth is to take all of them off and inspect them bro, I'd hate for something terrible to happen while you're driving. Be safe!

sorry to hear, but glad your wheel isnt jacked. what kind of grease do you use on your studs? that is a good idea. my lugs are always a pain in the @ to get on/off. they squeek like crazy
