Yeah they are always curious to what's going on, so I don't even bother

are you going to redo the clearcoat on the part where the face mounts? are you putting on any coating on the lips after your last layer of polishing compound?

No, the clear isn't hurting anything like it is, it would be more of a headache than what it is worth to strip the clear. The lips were already polished so all I am having to do is just clean them up, there is no recoating involved with the hoops.
