i would not recommend plating your lip with gold plating as it wont last long before it looks like shit and its $$$$. If you can paint/anodize it that color then that would be awesome

Its one of my "spare" SSR's that I had laying around due to curbage (Amazingly easy to fix)
So I powdercoated the lip translucent gold, and everything else gloss black.
I'm not sure but I'm not really feeling it any more. My biggest turn off was seeing a civic at work with these wheels,.. looked so bad. (not in a good way)

You know, I was just looking at these pics again, and I was just thinking...what if you colored the inside of the drum to match the lips too? So basically, just the center portion was glossy black, while the inner and outer pieces were colored black. Maybe even get the rivets anodized gold. I'd imagine that it'd look freaking badassed that way.
