as long as its 60mm it should produce some power over stock. good rule of thumb is this: invidia is the king of duals(for power) and 70mm is the king of singles.
ill have to disagree.

im more about function than numbers on a graph. invidia is heavy and restricted. I had amuse dual r1 on my old ap1 and im willing to bet it would have made more power on a dyno than the invidia.

anyway, 70mm is ok for a straight up n/a application with supporting mods, but for a daily driven car its not practical. ill take my 63mm r1 amuse over a 70mm r1000 for now.

ive had my 70mm headerback bolted back on for about a month now, and its loud, very loud.

im researching on making a custom "ASM" inspired single exhaust. im thinking about cutting off my Megan racing N1 turbo muffler and welding in place a OEM muffler to my 70mm piping. the only thing thats holding me up is what it'll sound like.

ive done some preliminary testing. i cut out my OEM resonator on my factory exhaust. combined with a test pipe, basucally turning into a straight through design. one long pipe with just the two OEM mufflers out back muting the sound.

heres my 70mm:

and heres my "gutted" OEM exhaust.

i dont like how it sounds at all, but im wondering if with only one muffler to do the muffling if it will sound different. thats what im stuck on now.

Tunnel!!!!!
I loved driving through that tunnel when I would go up to Philly all the time. Granted I had my 240 at the time but it was always fun to just punch it a bit and listen to my exhaust.

Looked like a fun trip!

I wish I was on the trip long enough to hit up the tunnel but I live in Southern MD so I wasn't. I did rev it up under a few over passes
