Default Quick red sky shot

I was outside talking with my gf and I looked up at the sky and noticed it was in its "sweet spot" (the time where the atmosphere reflects the sun rays making it appear red). I wanted to take a pic of my car but I knew as soon as I went to a nice spot, the sky would be dull again.

I did the next best thing, drove my car onto my lawn and took a picture lol.

The background isn't the best but the sky is pretty . I had also preped the cars paint for winter so thats why its so shiney

I adjusted the curves (make the image brighter) because to get the red sky I had to make the shutter speed pretty fast (so I would not overexpose the sky). Also adjusted the highlights and shadows to bring out the detail of the underexposed forground and the somewhat overexposed sky.

Winter prep =

Car wash, clay bar, 3 stages of polish, and wax. This upcoming weekend I'll be removing my rims (I think) and waxing them for storage.

I also detailed the interior and treated the softop.

Stupid winter salts are hell on paint.
