it may be a pig, but it gets all it's power down to the tire contact patches...that's what counts. I have only heard good things about the performace of the GTR...wouldn't mind owning one...but the paddle shifters turn me off

Paddle-shifter technology is getting pretty good now. I'm a die hard 3-pedal lover, but the new systems are quite good. I even like them. I'm sure the R35's paddle shifter will be just as good.
In regards to its power: It'll be fine, with the car's crazy Super Hicas AWD-individual wheel braking, throttle cutting, fuel cutting, individual wheel torque sending diffs, etc... It'll drive itself regardless of stock or higher HP.
