exactly.. a trend...
a trend? i don't even know why you're tryna put a for

it is a "trend", but this is far as hell different from anybody on this board with their constant, bland, uber high conservative offsets.

and you tryna say it's a "trend " when everybody on this board is running the same specs as each other. please.

VIP style has been around since the late 80's It's been a long trend I agree, no useful purpose at all But it looks pretty good when executed correctly
yeah, but I always thought VIP style was more luxury.. I don't see the 350 as VIP. I like the black Z a lot, the wheels have a decent offset, tires might be stretched some but aren't ridiculous.
to the Z.

lol.. I'm glad you've experienced this board so much in 141 days that you have seen all the wheels and offsets people have ran. You can run a 18x10 wheel with a +76 offset and fit a 285 tire on there with basically no problems (depending on drop at the most you roll the fender), and your trying to tell me that is conservative... please. There is a reason why people run a lot of the same specs, because they work. I'll take a 18x10 with 285 as bland and conservative anyday over something I have to cut and pull my fenders for.

wow, are you serious? did this actually turn into a seniority contest? 141 days, 1 year and 141 days, 2 years and 141 days, same difference, i've seen enough set ups to know.

i totally understand that the higher offset you go, the more rubber you can throw under there, well to a certain extent, but not everbody really likes the whole function over fashion ordeal or vice versa. Running a stretched tire isn't just a "trend" or "Mad JDM tyte y0", it has its advantages.

1.) causes car to break traction faster around turns
2.) clearance issues

How do you explain that everybody that competes in D'days, Formula D, D1GP, and even some autox events, runs a set up like this?

It's not just a "trend", it's fashion or functional.

but like you said, each to their own opinion, even though you did criticized his set up though.

Overall Sinj, i think your car looks hot man. Some people hate it, some people love it. but you got all of my respect.

[QUOTE=Ubetit,May 31 2006, 10:18 AM] IF the queen had balls she'd be the King.

Small tires that have so much camber they'll look like a truck with a broken axle, yeah that's fitting alright.
