Ready for the trip home
Nice tape job pup!
I plan on doing the same thing when I pick up my car in Florida and drive it back home to NC on tuesday. I think 1 roll should suffice, and the look on their face at the dealership when I start taping up my brand new car with blue tape should be pretty priceless.

you should have done your entire car like i did

That took some effort!
I taped the nose of my latest S to drive from Vegas to Tucson in January. My 73 year old aunt helped me pull it off at 1 in the morning when I arrived.

pup73 how did you get that blue tape on so nicely lol.....how many layers did you do
just one layer, but i ended up with alot of overlap, if that makes sense. could have done it with just one roll, with less overlap, and less hood coverage.also, next time, if i do the hood, i'll try more of a vertical pattern. at highway speed, the hood started to peel. plus, it rained a bit during one night. so i decided to peel the hood off and ended up with this...

still protected most of the bumper for the ride home.
