^^dude..i've been over this. I know what i'm talking about. The face of the rim itself won't stick out farther, but the tire won't stretch due to the width. He needs the stretch to fit the tires under the fender. I know what offset is. You have to keep in mind what the WIDTH does to the TIRE fitment tho...and not simply where the mounting face of the wheels ends up.

As the guy before you posted tho, he can go 18's with a 9.5/10.5 width and be fine.

Anyway...back on topic...

...but the 17x9 +22's would be less aggressive if he ran "stretched" tires like he did on his current set up then he could fit them for sure...i think atleast, lol.

huh? What part about the 17x9 et22 TE will retracting by 17mm (3/4") did you not understand? The 18x10.5 et24 sticks out 17mm further than a 17x9 et22. That is just simple math. You never mentioned tires. Though, I bet even with a 245/40 barely stretched it would still fit his car with that extra 3/4" clearance.

And, I think full polished TE's in the same widths and offsets as the S1's would be in order. So sick.

^^You are right. I ran 17x9 +10 on my stock bodied S just fine with a 205, so 17x9 +22 would fit with absolutely no problem. This thread has definitely entertained me.

18x9 +22=18x10.5 +41
18x10.5 +24=18x9 +5

TE's concave at +22, so he could probably run a 10.5 concave TE since it will only stick out 2mm further

It's nice to see more cars going with low offset wheels. Anyone can slap on a widebody/over fenders but I don't see the fun in that. Car looks good.
