I finally got around to paint stripping and painting my valve cover today.

Its easier than you think! The paint took about 1 hour to dry in the oven.

Start to finish about 4 hours. Looks so much better now the paints not flaking off haha

Can't see the pictures in the first post now.

I stripped and painted mine at the weekend. Here are some pictures of mine during the process.

More paint will give thicker wrinkles.
It's a fine balance though as not enough and it will leave a smooth finish in places.

Yours looks great now I can see the pictures again. 8)
