Which is easier to fit? 17x9.5 +35 or 17x10 +45? I didn't know the latter concaved like that.

17x10+45 is easier to fit.

tire centerline moves in 10mm. which means the edge of the tire moves 10mm in.

the wheel itself sits 4mm closer too.

Would there there be any performance differences running a 255 on a 9.5 vs a 10?

The range for a 255 is 8.5-10 inches. You pick smaller for increased comfort due to sidewall flex, bigger for increased performance due to less sidewall flex. Anywhere in the middle as a compromise choice.

Will you be faster on a 10 than a 9.5, yea.

But that assumes you're a good enough driver that you're just shaving tenths here and there.

Will it be noticeable? Depends on personal preference. I personally dont like sidewall flex, and I feel more comfortable with a 255 on a 10".
