The 19" work equips and the SP1's looked good. Not because they are JdM yO, but because they aren't chrome wheels with a hideous design. When I think of 20" wheels I think of a cadillac, that's why I thought it would look horrible. Just keep in mind that they will be pretty heavy, but if don't care than go for it.

 

i agree 20's would be too big, seeing the 19's they look perfect. i wouldnt put on those crazy chrome design wheels just something like racing hart c2's

 

Sorry....I dont agree with most people here. Most people agree that 19" wheels (nice ones) LOOK better than 16" wheels. Most of us here (about 80%+) on s2ki use our cars on the road. I rather have my car look good, and not look like crap so I can get to work .12 seconds faster.

P.S. I have 18s. If BBS made 19" LMs for our cars, I would get them in a heartbeat.

 

Its not about getting to work faster... do you guys all really use your S2000 as a daily driver?

My Miata is my daily driver, but you probably wouldn't guess that... I only imagined that you guys all bought an S2000 because they were an excellently balanced sports car, I just wouldn't want to sacrifice all the fun in the twisties for visual mods.

Sure 80% are driven on the street, but as grocery-getters?

 

16" = Function > everything
17" = Function > looks
18" = Looks > function
19" = Looks > sense
20" = Money > brains

 

I use mine for everything. I do go on a spirited drive or two, but fact of the matter is, I live in NYC. I spend a good deal of my time sitting in traffic. I know Im not the only one. Im not saying get lead weights, but IMHO, 19s make the s2k look fantastic, and the minor drop in acceleration is worth it...to me anyway. To say 19s are ghey arent are JDM tyte yo...is just stupid. I wouldnt be caught dead with spoon rims, but I dont go knocking them.

 

Blah, they don't look good either, just big.

finally someone who can see other reasons to own a car thanks NFRs2000NYC, you will baraly even notice a differnce when you put on 19's comapared to 16's
i love a car with some zip to it but its gotta look good doing it.

maybe instead of owning an s2000 you guys should go buy and old 240sx and put in 20 000 and you'll have a faster car. s2000s are good because they have some power and look nice.
