Glad to read your story, Bob! Awesome attention to detail

I'm sorry that you weren't in town when I blew through Rapid City a few weeks ago..... Luckily, I missed that late-season 36" of snow by about a week....although the road crews in DEADWOOD were still fully occupied
Jerry,

Turned out to be a modified short trip out of town instead of the back east road trip. I am headed out though as soon as the rain breaks here. We've had daily rain with last month being the wettest on record....this after 7 years of drought!

I trust your trip was both very enjoyable and uneventful. Did you get to try any of the suggestions I made for your 4 hour stop in my backyard?

As for this thread, your comments are much appreciated. Thanks!

Best!

good stuff!, I like the luggage rack - old roadster feel
Alejo, Thanks! Yeah that was a tough find as they have been discontinued. Managed to find one both NIB and also in the rare black vice chrome. I much prefer this design to others as it distributes the 75lb capacity very well and does not pose any risk of damage or require drilling to the trunk lid.

Nice to see the modding "bug" never completely disappears
Keith, Nope! Thankfully! LOL As an aside I'll share another secret. That little voice in your head.... it never changes over the years always sounding the same. So although the body ages, the tone and personality of the inner spirit doesn't!

IMO, your ride is fixed up a lot nicer than some of the guys less than half your age. Very tastefully done! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif
73Zero, that's about as nice a compliment as I could hope for here. Thank you very much.

MadeinTaiwan, thanks for the thumbs up

Thanks modMonkey

I started loosing my hair in high school and by graduation.... well lets just say that the plates reflect a condition I've had for years My sons suggested going to the vanity tags. They have always garnered fun comments no matter where in the country I'm at since '96 when I first adopted them.

Emil,

What product did you use in making all those engine bay lines red?

And I must say I don't think I've seen that AP1 front bumper aux intake aero shield before. Who made that?

As an aside I finally succumbed and a Skunk2 Megapower 70mm into dual 60mm catback exhaust system is en route for my car. It weighs 32 lbs vice the OEM's 58 and has been shown to garner reasonable hp gains (e.g. ~8hp) for a dual exhaust.

Best!

Bob,

Where did you get the material for the airbox insulation?

Thanks
