So sadly the beautiful 15 and 25 mph curves through the forest will be gone. Too many alcohol related fatalities prompted this.

A better (and current) shot of my custom square bottom mahogany shift knob from Joe Portas aka The Knobmeister. No collar is used.

I had originally swapped out the OEM knob for a Team VooDoo spun pearl aluminum finish shift knob shortly after buying the S2K in 2003 (pictured in a couple of the shots above). I had a similar knob on a '97 Miata. But in 2008 I went "old school" with this nice wood knob. It has served me well since. No sun heated hot metal to grasp.
