You are extremely lucky you dont live in NYC. If you did, not only would you not get any money from the other guy, but you would be paying him. From the looks of the accident, all he had to say is that you drove into him, and youre done. Hope everything works out! Good luck.

 

Thats the same crap that happen to me I was waiting at a turn then the dude in front of me decides to put it in reverse. Then i got all of his insurance and called them to find that his insurance was canceled in september, but unfourtunatly only the paint cracked.

 

I vote for Amuse R1 front bumper.

In these kinds of situations its hard to see the forest through the trees but I see this kind dumb luck as a little gift from the dumb guy that hits you.

 

I've had 2 similar experiences:

1. California, drive through of In & Out (best burger joint in the world)... I'm sittin in the drive through.. in my then car, Miata... when a HUGE raised SUV in front of me procedes to back out of the drive through at high speeds... I honk... she screeches to a stop about 2 feet from hitting my car (or running it overz)... she sticks her head out.. still on the cell phone.. and says 'sorry'.. gah~

2. Seoul, Korea.. I stop at a red light... I see the eediot behind me coming to a stop... then like 20 seconds later... BANG... for some reason in Korea.. people thing you have to change gears on your AUTOMATIC transmissions.. so they put their cars on N or Park when they come to a brief stop.. he accidentally popped the car back into drive and hit my car... what an arseclown...

PS... I'd step over an old lady for a In & Out burger right now... but i'm stuck in Korea
