Why not just get the 7pt if your already gonna get a 6. I think the extra bar in the back looks good. OH and does that bar that comes down towards the front of the car get in the way of the radio controls at all? looks like a tight spot. How about by the dead pedal?

Is it going to be daily driven? I wouldn't recommend the 6point for a daily especially since you aren't going to be wearing a helmet if an accident happens on the street.

I agree. Without a helmet and harness, you going to smash your skull in on even a relatively medium wreck.

hi guys im planin on buying a cage for my s2000... i want to know what the best looking cage is and i need the cage where i can still use the soft top on .. but also has to work when im on hard top...... thanks!!!!
This might sound silly, but if you're worried about looks & the ability to use the soft top, then you probably shouldn't be buying a cage. Nobody likes a poser.

If you're planning on seriously tracking the car, then you should get a real cage that will likely require removing the soft top and installing a hardtop. And it will probably be ugly as sin (though you can paint up anything to make it look purdy).

If you're not tracking the car, then the stock rollover protection is likely sufficient, and as mentioned already, it's less likely to inflict more damage than it prevents.

No, the car is purely a weekend/track car. I know you wouldn't recommend it (and others as well) and I can see why. I bought the cage knowing all the consequences, thanks for all all worries.

Just to clarify, the Safety21/Cusco cage is black and made of steel. The Cusco is blue and made of chromoly tubing(more expensive). Thats how they come, nothing special order.
