I dont know... That bar that runs along the driver/passenger door hinge

Just looking at it makes me uneasy. I might kill myself just getting in/ out of the car

All I'll say is that if you're truly concerned with the functionality of your roll cage as a safety device... you probably won't be buying one with "looks" and "ability to use the soft top" as your two primary criteria.
i was just messing with you man i dont think the cusco one is even allowed on some of the real courses cuz its mainly for looks that what i heard can anybody verify this

cusco is cert'd all over Japan and also in JDM D1 too. there have been NO cases of a cusco/21 roll bar failing in a acident.

That is exactly what might happen. Some chick on a cell phone rear ends your car at a traffic light at 25 mph. Instead of getting out of the car to get her insurance, you are sent to the ER and will remain in persistent vegetative state for the rest of your life. Or at least until your parents are forced to pull the plug on you. Really cool eh?
true. i'll pad it up

Padding it up won't help that much. Imagine someone putting some padding around a metal baseball bat and swinging full force to your face. I still think it's reckless to get a 6pt cage in a street car, your safety is a little more important than how baller your car may look on the street. Not to mention that padding on a cage, on a street car, looks pretty stupid.

answer. NO, BUT I BET IT FEELS LIKE GETTING KICKED IN THE BALLS AND PUSHED DOWN 20 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS.
Or worse. Maybe they don't have a lot of avalanches in Kuwait, but they do here. I've set them off. I've been at the edges of small ones. I know people who have been in big ones and were lucky to survive.

What's your point? The padded baseball bat analogy was exactly on the money. Padding is not a substitute for a helmet.

I don't know why but to me a bolt in cage that bolts together doesn't seem very safe to me.
