from the last ive heard...rota doesnt make the correct offset for an S2000. even though ive seen several rota slipstream on a few s2000's...they prolly ride like shit
So your saying they ride like shit because.....? Like Dan mentioned, they come in the similiar sizes to the spoon wheels so I guess they ride like shit as well?

Hey Guys,

Here is an S with Slipstreams on, and one with The Real Spoon SW388s.
The Slipstreams are 16x7 front and back (non-staggered), with 205f and 225r.

As far as normal driving, the feel arent to different, but when you start to drive a little sprited around corners, the Rotas, the rear loses its grip a little quicker than the wider SW388s. Other than that, not bad at all..
Both of these were mine, then I sold them to my friend..

This is a pic, upclose..

What is wrong with Rotas?? The two cars pictured with Rotas look great.

I suppose you guys are too good to go to Wendy's for a meal too.

imo...i see rotas on daily basis on civic, integs, etc....i just hate seeing them, if rota had their own designs and stop copying everything they see then it would be different. I've even seen stress cracks on a the spoon replicas on a couple of EK's in VA.

i just dont understand how people can buy a S2000 and buy a set of $400-500 set of rotas. i mean damn most of the time the tires cost more than the rotas do. I've never said that anybody's car looked like shit just cuz they have rotas...i respect everyone's taste.

also i remember a few members on HT tried to fit the SP1 replicas on S2000's....i think rota calls them D2s or something, but anyways at the time rota didnt have the correct offsets or widths for a S2000. not sure if they do now, someone correct me if im wrong.

different strokes for different folks...that is all.

Me too.

Back on topic.

Some of S2000 owners prefer not to spend $1500-$2000 on a set of wheels.

I am not advocating Rotas stealing of designs, but just because there are lots of S2000s does not necessarily mean that they are all on the same budget.

hardly any wheel design is original though, especially a 5 spoke.
