S2000 with 19's?
wow..his 19s are sick. its so big!
how the hell you drive that around in NY??
do you ever drive in the city?
damn. i constantly bump into biggest pot halls in the world in the city,
and if i had yours, they would be like shiz by now.
gotta find out why the hell they make so many halls on the road!
they just freakin cut the asphalt and leave it! and its like more than 5 inches deep with knife edges. hate NYC

This is my car on 19's. Not the hagen's though. I don't believe all 19's slow the car down. My 19's with rubber weigh in at 40 lbs. Dunno what stock rims weigh, but stock prelude rims with 40 lbs as well.




Physics says with bigger wheels you'll get a higher top end speed but have more trouble at lower speeds. It's more difficult to turn them even if they weigh the same, and they weigh more. So it's more stress on your engine and the rest of the drivetrain.
The benefits are the looks of the car and a smooth ride ... assuming you don't use ultra low profile tires. And if you do use low profiles then you're not getting a smoother ride. So it's all about looks.
