if u dont like 19's because it isnt your taste, thats one thing, but if ur saying dont do it because it slows down ur car and weigh to much, thats pretty dumb, your not gonna feel the difference, when i drive my car around i want it to look good, im not racing around on the streets like most of you idiots , trying to kill someone or myself, if i were to goto the track were ur supposed to race, then u put on your stocks, or u have a set of wheels to race with, im not gonna drive around with some 14 inch wheels that look like my hubcaps fell off, so i can get to work .53 seconds quicker
110% agree. Also, to the people that are flaming The black s2000 with the 40lbs wheels...LEARN TO READ>>>>IT IS WITH RUBBER.....
That isnt that heavy.
I hate some people's rims on this board. 16s, black, "looks like a steelie" yea, real good.

-Not the vehicle, the girl!
-Nah, seriously tho.....They both are Hot! BUT...That's some sick lips on them Volks.
Is it possible to fit that size.. (19x10.5) and with that amount of lip without the Wide body kit?
you are correct on the stock tire weight, putting wheel weight at about 36-39lbs. However, 19" s-03s weigh between 28 and 33lbs...plus lets say 18lbs a wheel (assume they're nice, light wheels) and you're at around 50lbs per wheel. Also consider that most 19's weigh a lot more than 18lbs
Ok, So you're saying that a stock tire can't weigh more than 20 lbs in one of your posts and then you are agreeing with someone who says they weigh more?? Then you say a stock rim and tire weigh in at 36-39 lbs. I dunno, maybe S03's just weigh that much more than my pirelli's, but when i put my 19" rim wrapped in Pirelli rubber on the scale it says 40 lbs as well which is pretty damn close to your "36-39 lbs a rim". Where are you getting your 19" tire weights from anyways?? How are 19's 8-10lbs more a tire when there probably isn't that much more rubber in those tires??
If you want to continue to convince yourself that large diameter, heavy rims are well suited to a small sports car, be my guest, it's your money and your car
Why are you still talkin about larger diameters?? Last time i checked 24.9"-24.9"=0" which means no diameter difference.
Lil Ant: Those rims are gorgeous!!! Where did you find the LE37's in 19"??? I would definitely like to get a set of those if i could find them. So far i've only been able to find 18" which i may still go for.
NFRs2000NYC: Thanks, i agree with ya. I figure, if i'm gonna spend decent money on a set of rims, why not make it worth it and go big!!
HEY guys that have such a big deal with 19's if you guys dont like it dont get them i agree NA with 19's wont work that good even though i still held my ground pretty good with them on now if your turbo doesn't make a difference actually helps alot with traction. 400hp with 19's runs awesome instead on being on little rims and spinning every where and loosing control what fun is that

I'm not understanding some of the posts that are being made, correct me if I'm wrong, but when you purchase a larger rim, you get a tire that is thinner than the one you were riding on previously, therefore keeping the diameter the same as to when you were riding on a smaller rim. I'm wondering now how that would screw up the calibration of your spedometer/odometer (milage as somebody posted before) ? Wouldn't the speed/odometer only be screwed up if you were to buy a wheel that was either larger or smaller than the wheel originally designed for/calibrated for your vehicle?

You're assuming everybody puts aftermarket rims and tires on that EXACTLY match the stock package's overall diameter. Most of the time though, this is not the case, you will be off by a little bit. And even a fraction of an inch difference will throw the speedometer off, not neccessarily by a whole lot but it will make a difference.
